2016 Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is daring with bright acidity and an opulent texture. All grapes were hand selected from our Estate Block I ; II and were aged in 100% New French Oak, which complement the distinct notes of black current, cherry, spice and leather. This Cabernet is the most beguiling expression of the Paso Cab, making it ready to drink tonight or for that dinner to remember. We love drinking this wine with leg of lamb that has been slow roasted on our Santa Maria grill. This special wine was part of our initial launch series and received high praise right out the gate. It was awarded a platinum medal where it completed alongside luxury Cabernets from Napa to France. Not bad for our first wine and first competition! Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Block I ; II. Critic Notes This block-designated bottling is starting to show its age, but still has plenty of magic. Aromas of red fruit, loamy earth and toasty coffee bean show on the nose.
